How to Traffic Display Ads in The Trade Desk?

For a faster experience, you can export the tag from Nova UI directly into TTD using the TTD Connector. Learn more here

Procedure

  1. Inside of the TTD UI, navigate to the creatives page for the advertiser.
  2. Click + New Creative
  3. Select Third Party Display and paste the Nova tag
  4. Under Ad Format select 300x250. Note: You may add an additional creative as 300x600 using the same Nova ad tag. We also support 320x480 and 336x280 sizes
  5. Under Securable select This creative may be served on secure web pages

  6. Select No for Expandable?
  7. Optional: Add a viewability script to the JavaScript Tracking Tag field
  8. Input flight dates and select Time Zone
  9. Click Go to Creative
  10. You will now be able to approve your creative

The TTD preview page has a known issue as Nova creatives do not resize in the iframe within the TTD preview, making it appear to be cropped. Please note the creative will render correctly when served in a live webpage. You can test the Nova ad tag at this website to see a full flex size preview with creatives displayed as they would once live.
