Introducing Nova’s New Mobile Wallet Integration (SAVE TO WALLET)

Nova’s Mobile Wallet Integration allows brands to turn high-impact Display and CTV ads into persistent, digital "passes" (coupons, loyalty cards, or event tickets) stored directly in a user’s Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. 


Unlike a standard "Click to Site" CTA, this feature ensures that even if a user doesn't buy immediately, the brand stays in their pocket with location-based alerts and push notifications, effectively turning a one-off ad impression into a long-term CRM asset.

⚙️ How It Works 

  1. The Ad: User sees a Nova Standard Display or CTV ad. 

  2. The Save: The CTA ("Add to Wallet") triggers a native Apple/Google pass download. 

  3. The Persistence: The pass is stored. The pass can then trigger:

    • Geofencing: A lock-screen notification when the user is within 500 meters of a store. 

    • Dynamic Updates: Change the coupon value or expiration date in real-time. 

  4. The Attribution: When the QR code is scanned, the conversion is tied back to the specific ad campaign.

🖥 Display Wallet Integration:

  • Users click a "Add to Wallet" button on a mobile banner or desktop unit.

  • On desktop, Nova displays a Dynamic QR Code. When scanned, the pass opens directly on the user's mobile device for instant saving.

📡 CTV Wallet Integration:

  • A QR code is overlaid on the Standard CTV creative (e.g., during a 30s spot).

  • Solves the "CTV Attribution Gap" by giving the user a way to take the brand away from the TV screen and into their phone.

Nova allows for full "white-label" branding of the wallet pass to ensure brand consistency: 

  • Visuals: Logo, hero image (strip image), and custom brand colors.

  • Dynamic Fields: Personalized user names, unique offer codes, or member tiers.

  • Back-of-Pass Info: Add links to your website, terms & conditions, and customer support contact info. 

 

📝 What you Need to Provide 

To launch a Wallet Integration campaign, Nova requires the following: 

Ad Creation: 

Standard Creative Asset:  A standard brand asset or social post 


Pass Customization: (Then Nova handles the actual wallet card creation). 

Brand & App Identity

  • Brand Name: The display name shown on the pass.

  • Brand Logo: High-resolution transparent logo.

  • Website URL: Your primary brand or campaign site.

  • Region/Market: The specific geographic areas where the campaign will run.

  • App Store Links: Direct URLs for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Campaign Logistics

  • Campaign Dates: Start and End dates for the ad flight.

  • Promotion Expiration Date: The specific date the wallet offer becomes invalid (if different from campaign end).

  • Notifications Template: Upload the completed template for lock-screen alerts and push updates.

Pass Design & Content

  • Pass Title/Text: The main headline on the card (e.g., "Summer Rewards Pass").

  • Pass Image: The primary creative/hero image for the card.

    • Technical Specs: .jpg, .png, or .svg; 900px W x 750px H; max 5MB.

  • Pass Colors: Specific Hex codes for both the Pass Background Color and Pass Text Color.

  • Description: A short summary of the offer or membership details.

Redemption & Conversion

  • Landing Page URL: The destination for the "Visit Website" button on the pass.

  • Redemption Code/URL: The unique barcode data or URL used for in-store/online checkout.
