What Is CM360 and Why Use It?

Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) is Google's ad server that allows you to traffic Nova Studio's Display ads across any DSP using CM360 tags. Using CM360 gives you:

  • Centralized campaign performance monitoring and reporting across all DSPs
  • The ability to add Click Trackers, Impression Trackers, and DoubleVerify (DV) trackers directly in CM360
  • No need to add trackers separately in Nova Studio

⚠️ CM360 trackers should only be set up in CM360, not in Nova Studio. Adding trackers in both places may result in double counting.

Before you start, make sure you have your Nova ad tag ready before setting up in CM360. Please refer to how to copy or export a creative ad tag for additional information.

How to Traffic Nova Display Creatives via CM360

1. In Nova Studio, select CM360 from the DSP dropdown and click Copy to Clipboard.

2. In CM360, set up your Campaign, Placement, and Ad.

3. Add your creative using Custom Display as the creative type.

4. Fill in the following creative details:
  • Creative Name — enter a name for your creative
  • Ad Size — select 300x250, 300x600, 320x480, or 336x280
  • Type — select Custom Display

5. Paste the Nova ad tag into the HTML field and save the creative.

6. Export the CM360 tag as Javascript.

7. Traffic the Javascript CM360 tag in your DSP.

8. Preview your setup using test-a-tag.com or your DSP's preview tool to confirm everything is working correctly.

⚠️ If you are using the direct CM360 integration with DV360, the tag will be served as an iframe tag. This is cross-origin and will cause the ad to display in fixed size.
