# How to Copy Social Post URLs

Learn how to copy social post URLs from [Facebook](https://help.novastudio.ai/copy-social-post-urls#facebook), [X (formerly Twitter)](https://help.novastudio.ai/copy-social-post-urls#twitter), [Instagram](https://help.novastudio.ai/copy-social-post-urls#Instagram), and [TikTok](https://help.novastudio.ai/copy-social-post-urls#TikTok).

### How to Copy Social Post URLs

 

#### Facebook

- The globe icon next to the timestamp indicates the post is Public

- There are two methods to copy the post URL
- Method 1 copies the URL from the address bar  
    1. Navigate to the individual post
    2. Copy the URL from the address bar at the top of the browser
    3. Paste into the Instant Mockup Preview Tool or [Add a Creative Using Social Import (Auto-Fill)](https://createwithnova.wiki/nova-socialimport)

- Method 2 copies the URL from the timestamp 
    1. Hover over the timestamp of the post
    2. Right-click on the timestamp
    3. Click the **Copy link address option**

- There are two methods to copy the post URL
- Method 1 copies the URL from the address bar 
    1. Navigate to the individual post
    2. Copy the URL from the address bar at the top of the browser

- Method 2 copies the URL from the share icon  
    1. Click on the share icon under the post

    2. Select the **Copy link address** option

#### Instagram

 

- To check if the post is Private or Public  
    1. Copy the post URL

    2. Open an incognito tab or log out of Instagram
    3. Paste the URL. If it leads to **Page is not found**, it is **Private**

    1. Click on the 3 dots icon in the top right of the post

#### TikTok

 

- To check if the post is Private or Public  
    1. Copy the post URL

    3. Paste the URL. If it leads to **This account is private**, it is **Private**
