# When Are New Ad Tags Required for Social Display Creative?

### Changes to Tracking - Needs New Ad Tag

- Any changes to the following require updates in the Nova Creative UI and a **NEW ad tag** to be generated and trafficked:
    - Impression trackers
    - Click trackers
    - IAS trackers (if added to the Integration Code field)
    - MOAT Trackers (if added to the Integration Code field)
    - DoubleVerify Trackers (if added to the Integration Code field)
- If you add trackers in the Nova UI and make any changes to them after exporting the Nova tags, then you will need to export a fresh copy of the Nova tags and re-traffick them in your DSP/Adserver.
- If the trackers have NOT been added to Nova UI but have been added directly to the DSP/Adserver, then any changes to the trackers also need to be updated in the DSP/Adserver (No need to update Nova tags in this case)

### Changes to Nova Creative that DO NOT require a new Ad Tag to be exported and re-trafficked.

- Any changes to the following in the Nova Creative UI **DO NOT require** a new ad tag
    - Creative Name
    - Landing Page URL
    - CTA Text
    - CTA Color
    - Brand Name
    - Brand Logo
    - Link Title
    - Link Description
    - Caption
    - Image Asset
    - Video Asset
    - Social Brand Page toggled on/off
    - Social Engagement Buttons toggled on/off
    - Verified Badge toggled on/off
